Ben Shimizu, Secretary of USIGO is a born and raised native of Seattle for over 56 years, graduate of the University of Washington and currently self-employed as a professional dog trainer under Canine Cornerstone. Ben has spent the majority of his life in the fields of massage therapy, finance and animals (specifically dogs and cats) specializing in communication with owners and families to better understand and support their furry companions to enrich their lives. This transformational process is about bringing awareness to how the entire pack behaves and finding solutions for clearer leadership, consistent rituals and continuity. I’ve been involved with USIGO since its inception and love its focus to bring fellowship to those who not only love golf but meeting new people every year in the process. Broadening the event to include a larger mission seems perfectly aligned for a greater purpose and impact during a time when everyone is looking to be part of something special.
