Mark Hatcher, President of USIGO and a Detroit native, is a proud Morehouse College alum and a Life Member of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc. With a golf handicap of 25, Mark’s favorite course is the Jefferson Park Golf Course in Seattle, while the Old Course at St. Andrews, Fife, Scotland, holds the title of the best he’s played. His mantra, “Presence OVER Perfection,” reflects his belief in making a meaningful impact in life. Outside golf, Mark cherishes “Bean Time” with Maris “Bean” Hatcher, enjoys fellowship with friends, engages in professional networking, relishes good bourbon, and finds joy in traveling to visit friends. A true lover of “All Things Detroit,” Mark envisions USIGO as a platform to introduce more children from underserved communities to golf. He challenges the Seattle Golf Crew to volunteer and mentor these youngsters in life, business, and community, acting as ambassadors for both the organization and the game of golf.
